Maasdam tour

Holland America Cruise Lines hosted 100 members of the visitor industry aboard the beautiful Maasdam while it was docked in Anchorage. The ship tour and lunch served as Visit Anchorage’s monthly meeting and as a fundraiser for the Alaska Travel Industry Alliance’s Anchorage Chapter.

The Maasdam calls in Anchorage twice this season with additional stops in the Southcentral towns of Valdez and Homer. Built in 1993 at 719 feet in length, the ship accommodates over 1,200 guests and and a crew of 557. You can learn more about the Maasdam here.

The Norwegian Bliss Arrives in Alaska

The Bliss is the first large ship built specifically to serve Alaska waters. It has an overall length of 1,094 feet, and accommodates 4,004 passengers with a crew of 2,100.
